La Habra, CA – October 9, 2008PROJECTMANAGER.com release their new project management dashboard software product

The product combines planning and tracking functionality with a reporting front end that allows the project manager to create a set of project health indicators that are combined in a project dashboard. The tool is compatible with the Microsoft suite of project management and office productivity tools which means it can produce Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel charts.

One of the innovative features this product offers is that it is web based. This means that not only can the project manager view and update project progress from anywhere in the world offering internet access, but anyone on the project team can also view up-to-date charts, graphs, and other reports with valuable project information.

The tool is advertised as completely compatible with MS Project. It has an import feature that allows you to create a task list with certain other MS Project information by using its import feature. You can also create an .mp file by using the export feature. It has many of the features offered by MS Project (though not all) so project managers familiar with that tool will be comfortable with this one.

PROJECTMANAGER.com is a vendor and creator of on-line project management software tools. PROJECTMANAGER.com is a New Zealand owned and operated company. They are a new company with big plans: their goal is to be the leading vendor of project management software in 2 years time! Given the players they’re up against – Microsoft (MS Project), and Oracle (Primavera) to name two, it will be quite a challenge.
