Review Project Audit Results

Key Question: How complete is the project notebook? Does it have all the necessary components with a sufficient level of detail?

"Discovering you have a skimpy or missing project notebook gives you great insight into the ability and attitude of your project manager. Good project management practices dictate the creation and maintenance of a project notebook. If your project manager is unable or unwilling to do so, it's time for a replacement."

"The easiest way to fix your immediate problem is to re-create the project notebook. Using the sections described in the previous chapter, find as many of the project artifacts as you can and complete the sections of the notebook. From an on-going perspective, insist the project manager keep the notebook current. You can verify the contents at each project audit."
