It explains to you what is the subject of protection the single most valuable asset in your organization and in you personally – Personally Identifiable Information (PII), to a company, PII can be referred to customer information and employee information, they are not only valuable to the company from a business standpoint, but they are also critical to the reputation to the company if this information are being breached or stolen by cyber criminals, especially if there are ways the company can better protect this information in their normal business processes.
Learn the various information security terminologies, key concepts of the confidentiality, integrity and availability triad. Develop a knowledge of information security requirements in today’s business world by studying cybersecurity controls, asset classification, personnel security, physical security, identity and access control and other topics. This course also introduce the various information security standards and frameworks such as the ISO 27002, the NIST 800 and the CISSP body of knowledge.
